Reading a dense article used to cost me an hour of focus I didn’t have. Now a hotkey hands me a clean summary and files it for later review—hands-free.

What Shifted

  • Summaries on demand: A voice command calls the browser extension, the page gets condensed into five bullets, and I never risk drifting halfway through paragraph three.
  • Instant filing: A follow-up shortcut drops the summary into my notes app with tags attached. No copy/paste, no formatting OCD, no mental load.
  • Energy ROI: The automation turns “read everything now” into “capture, review when sharper.” I stay in motion without burning my best hours on prep work.

What I’m Trying Next

  • Fold the AI Summary Drop Zone script into Raycast so macOS gets the same one-hotkey treatment.
  • Create a Zap that sends the summary to a friend when I tag it “share-worthy.”
  • Add a nightly prompt—“Did you read anything worth logging?”—to catch days when I forget to run the flow.
